To fully abide in the promised land, a people had to fight to the death with seven nations. The last enemy nation remaining in Canaan was the Jebusites, whom the Israelites were required to conquer and destroy. The ones who heard the call of King David to take Zion had done a work marveled at, completed in order to be at the King’s right hand. The commander of the armed host, Joab, was rewarded for the work of taking Zion, the stronghold of the high places. The thrashing floors of the Canaanites now became the courts of the Lord.
King David and his people are brought to their inheritance, a land that was fully delivered. This is a type of the inner deliverance that is being completed within our spirit. Christ the King needs to come alive within all people! Our inner spiritual person has come alive to God to recognize the Jebusites dwelling in our “heights of Zion.” Jebusite souls could look down for a long time from the high places on the ground that the Canaanites used as threshing floors.
Jebusites were in the heights of Canaan, a most difficult place to take. This high ground was easily defended, so once settled, there was nothing to do but be “looking down.” Many in every Christian rank experience abundant people that are encountering long lasting testings and trials, threshings, troubles, tragedies, reversals, problems, strippings, cross-currents, having traumatic experiences which begs prayer. But God just will not accept it any other way. It will be as He determines, and we adjust and allow for the thinking of a son. We will not just settle down in our ease, thinking circumstances are never going to change. God is able to dislodge or change our circumstances of life even in the high places.
The current SOULISH methods of organized church are trying to cope without consideration for conquering the entire land top to bottom. With Zion used as the King’s dwelling place, the methods of the ark were revealed to King David. Jesus, a son of King David, has challenged us to scale the spiritual heights of Zion thereby making all-out war with any remaining fleshly ideas of the Jebusites. We know that the carnal mind is an enemy of the Lord and must be overcome now that the Lord is reigning gloriously from Zion.
Though it took time, brave souls noted in battle with Joab finally took Zion from the Jebusites. Today, Jebusites represent people who resist the truth because their own natural thinking (carnal mind) has been vain and prideful. They are high minded and refuse to live in low places that are unwalled. They allow for certain undisciplined thinking from standards accepted in past generations now mixed with the worldly standards of earthly minded Christians. These are the many “midheaven” encampments in the Lord’s body. There are soldiers of Christ, however, who hold clear spiritual instruction to continue to heed the upward call in order to become part of a general convocation gathering in Zion’s mount, where the King and His defenders dwell.
Christ frees us from the many fears of life, including our health and financial struggles, through seeming tragedies and disasters that come to stick in our consciousness. We are now able to realize that each test and trial is used for our personal processing. We realize that the work of transformation has brought tremendous importance to us as Christ continues to operate more fully to set us free. We are now free to LOOK UP, no longer “looking down” in our thoughts, attitudes, and dispositions. We are changed in our inner character in ways that brighten with hope for final victories over death, hell, and the grave — the “giants” in the heart of His people. Our heavenly Father has prepared a way, revealed in the coming King as spiritual maturity guides us to where He is in the heights of Zion.
It is interesting to note that the Jebusites occupied the heights of Zion for a long time. In that high stronghold in Jerusalem it was easy for them to be “looking down upon them.” They were not dislodged by Joshua, but long afterwards by David’s men, generations from the days of Joshua. David established the ark in mount Zion in glorious worship of the mount where covenants were made, for David hoped to build a house of worship for the nation of Israel.
The conquest of the Jebusite kingdom represents the final battles we wage for the possession of our soul. We are to “conquer our land” to inherit the promise of long overdue victory that conquers the hidden characteristics of the human nature. He raises His sons to understand His conditions of Life that deliver us from our “trodden-down” human viewpoints. Only God is able to finally deliver us as qualified to reign over earthly matters. Our own Father is raising us to the highest places of His domain where we have come, with the many others, to spiritual mount Zion:
“Return, O faithless sons, declares the LORD; For I am a master to you, And I will take you one from a city and two from a family, And I will bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:14-15 NAS
In Zion is the King’s table, the son of David as the type of the Lord Jesus Christ, and with Him are 144,000 having the Father's name written on their forehead. Notice now the final promise to the overcomers within the Laodicean ecclesia:
“To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.” Revelation 3:21
To be enthroned with Jesus Christ is the promise to those who overcome certain problems in the Laodicean candlestick. Some follow on to dislodge and conquer all seven nations inhabiting their promised land, including the last strongholds of death in high places. Sons do conquer the rich places where religious men so selfishly desire to deceive for hire.
Some have yet to conquer the mother harlot but are held as her child in death. But Christ is formed within us by displacing every type of fleshly characteristics, to conform to conditions working within holiness of spirit. Our soul is affected and even our body is quickened to become ENTHRONED BY THE FATHER HIMSELF, SO THAT GOD WILL DWELL IN US. The inventor of this journey into the promised land has predestined an arrival time of enthronement within each of us.
Even now Christ reigns within us, especially when we must continue in small and undistinguished places, hidden and unknown, where we are separate. We are becoming a dwelling place of God Almighty — the kingdom of God has come within us! Today we hear His voice and are MAKING WAY FOR THE KING to use us as mouthpieces from the right hand of God in Zion.
These are ones who, through grace, stand with Jesus Christ as Lord in Zion raised over the vastness of creation.
God has promised sons raised up and their success will make all men glad! A blessed people sit enthroned with Him in the midst of just men being made perfect, where Jesus is. Zion is a people, many people, a holy people already placed in the heavens of Zion. This rock is prepared for special purposes. Each one will find his place, fitting foursquare with His perfect nature to commission divine service with supreme intelligence.
God grants us the ability to judge rightly, to know how to raise every problem from the grip of death, to be one with his Spirit, having the truth of His sound mind. He is bringing peace of mind because we are conforming to His image. It is most wonderful and it does happen!
God is the founder of the most important enterprise of all time. The manifestation of His Life promises to swallow up the death of every man, woman or child by raising us into His kingdom. God has been in the process of hiring, educating, and developing His kingdom “management team”, a team of kings and priests who have messages to etch on people’s hearts throughout all all time.
The everlasting gospel is ministered by God’s kingdom of priests who reign for thousands of years. We have had a lifetime of training to become powerful rulers over evil, to initiate the next phase of God’s kingdom in heaven and on the earth. How much effort has God already expended on our training and education? All of us are pretty slow to catch on to what Our Father is doing in making supreme investments in us to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Without that sacrifice being paid, none of us could enter agreement with God- life. The new covenant promises deliverance into His Life. Attainment in understanding of God’s will is very profitable! He has been waiting patiently for us to overcome the hindering conditions that dwell in the inner regions of our natural and religious soul. He invests His time communing daily guidance of refining processes which are valuable teachings. His spiritual training seeks deep commune with us that yields to vital transformation in-worked in our inner spiritual person.
God will NEVER give up on completing what He started writing on your heart. The finished work for us looks like Jesus Christ and God is faithful to finish what He has started in us. He is currently investing truth and life in us with every intention of making us perfect (complete) and profitable members of His great host to expand His true kingdom. Our all-wise Father knows our potential, our capacity to understand what He knows, and He will guide us the keener we are to discern!
God initiates pruning sessions that train our mind to be released to face truth within our lives. He did not forsake us nor should we feel that we missed the mark. He has guided us and it takes discipline and refinement of character. Godliness is not a punishment, it is gain, yet, truth be told, He needs to chastise every son who wishes to partake of maturity by deliverance, freeing us from any downward-looking Jebusite attitude that needs to touch correcting truth. The light of the scriptures as taught by His Spirit enlightens us of His intention to make Kingdom priests prepared by Him to rule and reign.
Children of God make many mistakes, for children are children. God exercises our ability to learn and that makes us grow. We learn from our mistakes as our testings and trials build up sonship characteristics within our being. Great opportunity for heavenly wealth lay before us as the “firstfruits” of a new priesthood manifestation that is lifted, redeeming and restoring liberty in the glory of God. This real profit is openly manifested in our life!
To deal with us as sons, the Father has put us in difficult situations so that we can face it and learn the spiritual realities required for growth that encompasse us about. He hedges us in, shuts us up, strips away every prop, removes the supports we depend upon. From there, we learn to draw from Christ within us. This substance has formed a life of the Son in us, so that, from within, we partake of power that overcomes the fiercest trials, endures every tribulation and passes testings victoriously.
We are to be made alive, alive with eyes to see and wings to soar above earthly problems as we are drawn nigh to the Father’s throne in Jesus Christ now manifesting within us:
“In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls." I Peter 1:6-9 NAS
All our nice comfortable things fall away once we face desperate situations with which we cannot cope. When suddenly we learn no one has an answer for our condition; no prophet gives us a word that answers the questions; no prayer stops the torment; the rivers we trusted all run dry; the food we have been eating becomes stale and unpalatable; our trusted heavens becomes as brass; God seems a million miles away!
Yet it is the Father who brings us to wilderness situations, separated from all that has sustained us church folk for long seasons. It seems we will perish in swirling sandstorms of futility! However, it is our wise heavenly Father that knows that, before we perish and drown in floods of sorrows and woe, we will learn to yield to the river of Life! God is saving our soul now, freeing us from within as every lie and false way is exposed. God is working on shutting down our soulish thinking, changing our viewpoints so our opinions can be arranged like His:
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:12-13 NAS
Truly mercy and grace is filling those who know the Father. His Spirit has interrupted our inward ways. Sometimes it is necessary to suspend all our external helps until we can be changed, moved to trust God, waiting for what God intends. All the methods men use are incapable of coming to our rescue, so now is the time we need help to prove what is good, and acceptable, and what is the perfect will of the Father.
God’s sons come eventually through difficult trials that thresh them against the rocky slopes of Zion as they climb up the waterspouts to do battle in Jebusite gutters high in the stronghold. Joab took the established high places so Jebusites could no longer hold us in any “downward looking” viewpoint. It is time for Zion to break out, break through, to be enthroned with the firstborn who stands in Zion with those who have been inheriting the power of God!
Many sons are predestined, set to be rulers over nations, to exercise power that will break opposition to shivers like broken pottery. Sons of God are beginning to rule the earth with a rod of iron. It is the rod of His Word, a two edged sword. Facing the word of truth in each situation will strengthen us to be pure and clean as we clearly understand the word given to us.
When we sufficiently understand the outstanding religious conditions of that Jezebel system occupying the Thyatira candlestick church heavens, we are raised and given “the morning star.” The morning star concentration on our life by the spirit of Christ brings light that shines within our inner person. Our spirit is alive, bringing messages of a new heaven. We are with the King! For us, the mind of Christ is clearly established within our own consciousness.
We herald this new heaven as it continually unfolds and brings more brightness and glorious light. This is the gospel that dispels the darkness, looses the captives that have been bound, makes no one a slave to corruption. It is time to end the sorrow and heal the pain in human life. Christ is working within us!
Those who receive the merciful call to sonship make peace, putting forth every righteous effort, spiritually speaking, to cooperate with our Lord. We received a heavenly authority in the MORNING STAR within our inner person. Truth springs up within as we see Jesus and have become verbal witnesses of His lasting kingdom. His kingdom is one built by God, not human hands, with power coming now to release firstfruit members of His body. We are now raised to behold the Lord from within.
The candlestick churches have been passing through a troubled two thousand year period of confusion, and a great darkness has worked within the two thousand year church age. It has been a long, long, night of mixture and compromise that has produced much travail within the yearning hearts of saints who are waiting patiently for the long darkness to cease.
God has blinded minds of leading men in candlestick churches with a full measure of carnal mindedness which has kept earth’s inhabitants under the dominion of sin and death. But let it be shouted from the housetops: “THE DAY OF THE LORD HAS COME! THE MORNING CAME, THE TIME FOR THE DAY OF LORD TO TAKE OVER HAS DAWNED!”
It is time to “cast off all the former works of darkness” and be now clothed with the armor of light. BECOMING CHILDREN OF LIGHT, we are now like STARS shining of a birth into a new life, one bringing forth the promise of glory and the true triumph of God’s King. Thank God, the morning star has pierced the darkness of our lives. Thank God, He chose us to arise and understand, to behold the glories of overcoming every hindrance in the light of His new day. Oh, let us drink in the intoxicating freshness of all the things that He makes new!
Many believers in candlestick churches still remain for the most part in the darkness of former days. They dwell in mixture, steeped in false motives, filled with manmade doctrines that have created dead traditions operating in religious systems by leaders trained in controlling earthly minded men. Today people are stifled and overwhelmed with fearful uncertainty as carnality is rampant in the natural minded.
Yet overcomers following the spirit’s leading are learning how to worship God in spirit and truth. They refuse the Nicolaitan spirit that darkens the religious leaders in the midst of candlestick church heavens. Even the best Pentecostals have readily received a flood of falsehoods and literal concepts that formed warped concepts and wrong doctrines with old stuff broadcasted all about.
God is raising up overcoming brothers and sisters into the LIGHT. These sons are luminaries of the Lord who are enabled to dispel the darkness of past ages. God is shaking the various 30 fold (Passover), 60 fold (Pentecost), and 100 fold (Feast of Tabernacles) realms of Christianity. Many are now being shaken loose from their professed membership in established candlestick churches. True believers are becomeing something completely new, “a new heaven wherein righteousness dwells!"
God does not want us to settle for anything less than what God has ordained to bring forth. He has a perfect plan to make us just men transformed into the likeness of Jesus, in a complete manner, to a measure that He complements as full mature growth. Enthroned people are looking up and beholding the King. They are inheriting the life power given Jesus and are continually drawn to the throne of Jesus!
