The Feast of Tabernacles is a collection of teachings by Richard Mikelson.

These teachings explore spiritual depths of influential texts of scripture,  and of the human condition.

The Tree of Life

The tree of life recorded in the second chapter of the book of Genesis is mentioned very simply as “IN THE MIDDLE”. That is all that is said about it. The tree of life came forth in the middle of the garden, in the middle of a dimension in which Adam was originally placed. This tree of life contained God’s very own eternal, incorruptible being, placed in the middle of what Adam was aware.

Adam was created with a capacity to partake of this tree within the garden. God said Adam was free to eat from all the trees in the garden but one, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam’s inherent potential was to know God by partaking of the tree of life. Adam trespassed and became banished, shut away from partaking of the tree of life's blessings. Yet in the last chapter of the book of Revelation, we see mankind actually participating abundantly in the tree of life’s blessed reality.

One of man’s inherent potentials is to know God as the center and source of his life.

"And Yahweh Elohim instructed the human, saying: From every tree of the garden you may eat, yea eat."   Genesis 2:16 concordant

"So, Yahweh Elohim made sprout from the ground every tree desirable to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the middle of the garden, and also the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."   Genesis 2:9 concordant

Like the tree of life, another tree STOOD IN THE MIDST of Eden’s garden. Adam chose to follow Eve's desire to be pleasantly wise as God within herself. She died to her spiritual connection with God and Adam followed her by partaking of the knowledge of good and evil. It was not a way God would sustain and would mean death for them both.

Adam’s descendants also would conduct their behavior in the darkness of their own deceitful hearts and reasoning minds. They became filled with evil thoughts, leading to murders, thefts, covetousness, wicked adulteries, deceit, an evil outlook that blasphemes with pride, to speak foolishness. These inner evils came to defile all men who, having attained intellectual wisdom and curiosity, could then only know from a fallen humanistic, earthly viewpoint.

Losing the truth as revealed by God’s Spirit, Adam and Eve certainly followed their human desires with deceiving senses to fulfill selfish appetites, just like we humans now live. Adam’s descendants are still focused and centered firmly on their own life and its needs, trained in earthly minded ways and conceptions. They set up false ideas, false thinking, and false gods, falling within their own lives into misery and sorrows.

Christians, however, are people in the process of becoming spiritually connected. They are being made alive and being made one with God’s Spirit. Christians grow to recognize God has Fathered a knowing of spiritual matters at the CENTER of their being. Mature Christians come to know God as a Father abiding and comfortably at home within their inner spiritual man. His Spirit and Word are within their reach. He reveals His heart in unfolding revelations that call all who can hear to come alive in OUR middle — our quickened inner man.

Christ is making us alive to God as we follow on to know the Lord. We have become the temples wherein the one true God dwells:

“For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.” I Corinthians 15:22 concordant

“There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these evils come from within, and defile the man.”   Mark 7:15,21-23

The garden of Eden revealed two main trees available to Adam in the middle of the garden. So, also, we find fruit of two trees “in the middle” of the experience of each Christian. The fruit of fleshly dispositions is working in our middle, and at the same time another tree, A TREE OF LIFE —Christ — is working within our inner being to make us alive spiritually:

“For those who are in accord with flesh are disposed to that which is of the flesh, yet those who are in accord with spirit to that which is of the spirit. For the disposition of the flesh is death, yet the disposition of the spirit is life and peace, because the disposition of the flesh is enmity to God, for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able. Now those who are in flesh are not able to please God.”   Romans 8:5-8 concordant

These two dispositions become very evident in the lives of present day Christians. One is finding spiritual peace and connection to God’s Spirit. The other disposition is one of fleshly mindedness, in agreement with the self- centered characteristics of human weakness. This has produced death and dissatisfaction within mankind’s darkened soul. Yet through Christ, quickened overcomers of the candlestick churches come to know God’s love and peace in the middle of our being.

The church age has left Christians with a mixture of these two dispositions. These two trees are fleshly and spiritual laws working in the middle of our lives. They are in our awareness, in our consciousness as limits and boundaries set by God. From the beginning, God set LIMITS of how high a man may rise and to what bottomless lows a man could fall. The corruptible state of men has allowed for degrading deceptions that dominate reprobate minds, leading to giving themselves to the vilest defilements.

Darkness in our soul can carry us to dark bottomless pits where murder and evil thoughts prevail, where we are not able to trust anyone. Men become thieves abounding with covetous pride produced by an inner corruption that destroys any righteous intent. The human heart IS most deceitful. A kind of blasphemy is trumpeted from every man living in the bottomless pits of despair, expressing every past sorrow, tragedy, pain, trouble, sickness, hatred, strife, heartache, ignorance, fear, and torment known to man.

God’s tree of life quickens the inner spirit of Christian men and women, causing inner release to heights of divine understanding to spiritually know the height, depth and breadth of our calling in Christ Jesus. Most definitely the heights of God have been promised to those who follow the Lamb of God. To find lasting love, men must be empowered of His incorruptible Life that changes our mind about everything!

Incorruptible Life make us spiritually minded, free of every bond to death, raised from every darkness to really enjoy the Lord’s abundance. We learn to be PEACEMAKERS, to pray even for our enemies. We rely on His supply for satisfying love. God has a life-giving tree that feeds only God’s wisdom and glory to our inner spiritual being. The Spirit of GOD ALMIGHTY teaches us by revelation!

Christians can rise now to obtain a very high calling in Christ Jesus that contains all the vital sonship virtues. This enables them to eat of hidden manna at the Lord’s table, from the tree of life in paradise. Paradise is the third heaven, available to us even now as Christ feeds us the food of truth. Truth is our medicine! It’s the true communion bread that actually makes us know His mind, giving us a great connection with our Father.

Being born of Christ, our inner spirit has been awakened, quickened to be loosed from death’s grip in our soul. We are to be completely saved! The knowledge of good and evil is no longer able to dominate our lives. We are standing up in the Lord’s new Day. As He judges us to be just, He will make us free from the multiple masters we have had.

Ultimately a man cannot even have two masters, for he will love one and hate the other. Christ delivers us from every power working in death. All lies must be swept away in brokenness as Christ draws us to feed on hidden manna. A GREAT FEAST OF SPIRITUAL BREAD is flowing victoriously from God’s tree of life.

"Now those who are in flesh are not able to please God. Yet you are not in flesh, but in spirit, if so be that God's spirit is making its home in you. Now if anyone has not Christ's spirit, this one is not His. Now if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is life because of righteousness. Now if the spirit of Him Who rouses Jesus from among the dead is making its home in you, He Who rouses Christ Jesus from among the dead will also be vivifying your mortal bodies because of His spirit making its home in you.

Consequently, then, brethren, debtors are we, not to the flesh, to be living in accord with flesh, for if you are living in accord with flesh, you are about to be dying. Yet if, in spirit, you are putting the practices of the body to death, you will be living. For whoever are being led by God's spirit, these are sons of God.”   Romans 8:8-14 concordant

“And according as they do not test God, to have Him in recognition, God gives them over to a disqualified mind, to do that which is not befitting, filled with all injustice, wickedness, evil, greed, distended with envy, murder, strife, guile, depravity, whisperers, vilifiers, detesters of God, outragers, proud, ostentatious, inventors of evil things, stubborn to parents, unintelligent, perfidious, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: those who, recognizing the just statute of God, that those committing such things are deserving of death, not only are doing them, but are endorsing, also, those who are committing them.” Romans 1:28-32 concordant

“Instead, I tell you, be guided by the Spirit, and you will no longer yield to self-indulgence. The desires of self-indulgence are always in opposition to the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are in opposition to self-indulgence: they are opposites, one against the other; that is how you are prevented from doing the things that you want to. But when you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. When self-indulgence is at work the results are obvious: sexual vice, impurity, and sensuality, the worship of false gods and sorcery; antagonisms and rivalry, jealousy, bad temper and quarrels, disagreements, factions and malice, drunkenness, orgies and all such things.”   Galatians 5:16-21 NJB

JESUS is now enthroned as the TREE OF LIFE in the midst of the paradise of God, whose seven spirits are sent to rule within our entire earth. The quickening life in this tree goes right into a man's spirit to make him alive. Christ is coming within our inner man as the breath of God. Life is what God FATHERS in each of us.

"God is treating you as his sons. Has there ever been any son whose father did not train him? If you were not getting this training, as all of you are, then you would be not sons but bastards. Besides, we have all had our human fathers who punished us, and we respected them for it; all the more readily ought we to submit to the Father of spirits, and so earn life."   Hebrews 12:7-9 NJB

The glorious Godlife that is in Jesus Christ is sent to our inner spirit so that we may emerge in the same essence and reality of Him. God’s tree of life is in our center as the source of living bread that raises each of His followers into life, light, and love. He is abounding and bearing witness of heavenly wisdom and understanding, as well as fearless power within our own spirit.

He gives a spirit of grace filled and shining with the substance of God Himself. Sons are partaking of the fruit of God’s Spirit which indeed make men radiant with the resplendent glory of God. Jesus appeared like this at the transfiguration. His face shone as the sun and his raiment was white as light. The most satisfying substances are in His supply of glory! They are sweet to man’s spiritual senses, tasting of heavenly realities as we seek to worship Him in spirit and truth.

The wisdom and power of God Himself is being revealed to us. We can see Jesus in lasting heavens that are now open to us. These heavens had been hidden but the eyes of our spiritual understanding have been opened to see the present realities of celestial realms in the Lord. The ark of the covenant is opened in heaven and the light of it is shining to all who are being drawn. His people have entered the gates of God’s heavenly promises and are open to God’s new Day.

Sons learn to ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK until they appreciate that their inner spiritual dimensions are connected to His lasting kingdom. Laodicean Christians have “meat to eat” if they hear His voice and open the door. He has supped with us by giving us things that the passing church heavens could not teach. The new covenant states we should not be stuck in heavens that are loudly saying “know the Lord,” “know the Lord.”

Surely the new covenant is written directly on the heart of mature Christians. He makes sons who are one spirit with the Lord. Christ within can provide more bread and drink that raise us into spiritual places in God’s celestial realms. The key is to be taught BY THE SPIRIT to be granted an understanding of spiritual matters. Such spiritual communion grants a knowing of the present King:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…in Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”   John 1:1,4

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread which I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”   John 6:51

Now God and creation have come together in Christ Jesus, so that men can be made alive to God. Jesus has a full portion of God’s spirit to plant a Word in the garden of our heart. His “word-seed” grows quickly into spiritual realities of godly qualities and characteristics. Jesus has been coming in our hearts as a DAYSTAR that arises to do hidden works that circumcise our hearts by God’s Word and Spirit.

God’s truth is given to be eaten as hidden instructions until we understand some of the secret meanings of His Word. We have drunk in what the Holy Spirit poured out in Latter Rain, but to fully realize we are made alive in our spirit, a FULL REDEMPTION will loose our vile bodies from every death and disease:

“Now if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is life because of righteousness. Now if the spirit of Him Who rouses Jesus from among the dead is making its home in you, He Who rouses Christ Jesus from among the dead will also be vivifying your mortal bodies because of His spirit making its home in you.” Romans 8:10-11 concordant

“Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches: those who prove victorious I will feed from the tree of life set in God's paradise."    Revelation 2:7

The tree of life feeds us something not gained anywhere else. The Word of it plants divine seeds of right thinking within us producing the fruit of God’s truth. Paul states that ministers of the new covenant are like trees containing words of life (the good seed from the tree of life), not as representatives of the letter of law. This should be very plain when Paul writes:

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance…how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.”   II Corinthians 3:6-9

The Bible contains two covenants, two testaments that are like the two trees in the garden of Eden. The new covenant is the tree of life, Jesus Christ. The Old Testament (covenant) teaches fallen men the letter of the law, so that they know that they should love God but are weak, unable, lacking strength, hence no flesh can please God.

The Old Testament types and shadows in Israel testify of what God did in commanding the letter of the law, a realm that over time loses glory. These two covenants are distinct Bible administrations. One ministers the letter of the Word that places us under the legal demands of law. The other covenant, the SPIRIT OF THE WORD, is truth written on our heart by His Spirit. Now we are ENABLED to justly follow Him in doing righteously and being alive.

Plenty of churches have legalistic administrations representing the New Testament in a way that places people under the letter of the word. These church standards must be kept so Christians are working hard to fulfill scriptural teachings but IN THEIR OWN STRENGTH. It’s hard to see beyond human efforts as so many are ministering the dead letter of the word— old covenant law keepers wrapped in New Testament words. The scripture is inspired of God, however, the preaching and teaching of men trained in the letter of the Word will kill our spiritual possibilities with falsities and church legalism.

Preaching legal standards out of the New Testament have deceived to poison many a Christian rank. Doing good religious works seems to blind the Lord’s people. They rather like keeping the rules, knowing the regulations, agreeing with dogmatic doctrines and made-up creeds. They seem comfortable observing outward ordinances in formal customs and ceremonies, which multitudes follow, but DO NOT CHANGE THE HEART!

Today’s form of church worship is plagued by literalistic interpretations of New Testament scripture. Carnal minded leaders have taught legalistic standards that leave most Christians as spiritual infants. Christian leaders are trained in secular minded schools to use the dead letter in producing dead sermons, dead programs, and dead meetings. These have kept believers in Jesus quite stunted in growth, but today are recognized as the norm in most church circles.

The anointed Word that is functioning as God’s truth goes far beyond what Moses received in the law. The ministry of law is a ministry of death written and engraved in the stony places of our unbelieving hearts. Nobody following the letter of the word has ever been perfected! They all die in legalistic standards of knowing the head knowledge of scripture.

Law does not makes anyone perfect. The Bible, Old and New Testament scripture, tells us what we ought to be. Then the letter of the word judges us with condemnation when we do not possess the power to do what is right! (Romans 7 & 8). Even the New Testament scriptures have become trampled by men who have received the Holy Ghost, yet minister only the letter of the word.

The Holy Spirit has been poured out on Christians’ fleshly mindedness. Christ can be seen clearly revealing the only hope of gaining lasting victory over man’s sin. This involves separating from these ministries of the letter of the word. Sons are not using scripture to lay down the law and point out a person’s individual faults, but to CONFIRM THE TRUTH:

“I knew not sin except through the law. For besides, I had not been aware of coveting except the law said, ‘You shall not be coveting.’ ” Romans 7:7 concordant

Paul stated that the Old Testament passage Exodus 20:17 was the letter of the word. We learn what sin is by the knowledge we have of scripture old and new. The realm of good and evil is confused, because those in it only know the letter of the word. Many churches serve God by doing good works but they still feed His people FROM THE TREE OF KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL.

Christian works are ranks filled with false ideas, trying to condemn sin while heaping up great faults on others who are supposed to burn in hell forever if not submitting to the letter of the word they know. Corruption is embedded in the church standards that are powerless to stop themselves from doing wrongs that are likewise vile or worse to the Lord. Church heavens are packed full of religious people with head knowledge, many having legalistic standards applied to scripture.

Overcomers of the candlestick churches are called up hither by the spirit to become an administration of LIFE, coming from the tree of Life which enables us to do what is right in God's eyes. Jesus stated "My words are spirit and life." His bread blesses us with inner enlightenment that redeems us, making us alive within our inner man of spirit. No words are more solemn or arresting than the statements of Jesus wherein He stated:

“He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me…as the Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me.”   John 6:56-57

Christian leaders disagree among themselves on many issues. Leaders have followed after competitive pursuits, chasing after vain blessings and earthly prosperity. Pentecostal churches are praying for bodily healings, all religiously exercised with creeds, scripted procedures, and programs that profit from church worship!

Yes! There is a rarer luxury than these church heavens — so rare, in fact, that comparatively few have ever more than tasted of the delicacies on the King’s table. So rich is Kingdom fare that those tasting of it are never again satisfied with feeding at any other level in His house. Our natural body must have sustenance from the physical environment to live. Likewise, the spiritual part of our being must have daily sustenance from His Spirit to live.

We are to be renewed every day by His words. They are life to our inner spiritual man. Christians who have been BEGOTTEN TO A LIVELY HOPE have an inner light, an awareness to eat and drink spiritual food daily. No other communion can satisfy the appetite of a son or daughter of God. Only the word that comes from the mouth of God as being our Father will feed or satisfy them:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God…”   Matthew 4:4

Every American knows that many people of other nations are hungry and that there are hungry people starving in the world today. We Americans, being rich, are eating from many kinds of food and drink, but today Americans are finding less real health and satisfaction in consuming the products the world produces. All its comforts, small pleasures, and amusements, the exciting entertainment, its best efforts at fair government to do good works for society, the good books, and honorable events, have brought our nation to continual warfare.

People are concerned with vain things, puffing themselves up with pride, but at the end of consuming the world’s wealth, they have found frustration and vanity stuck in their souls. But even in America, overcoming Christians have found satisfaction and nutrition for our inner spiritual man, as Christ within us has made place for His holiness and His righteousness. That is most satisfying!

The Christian church world is hungry too — starving, in fact. Oh, it has many meats and many drinks, but little nourishment to take them beyond Pentecostal heavens. Those heavens are divided because God poured out His Spirit on fleshly people. They got part but not all of what is able to make them unified with Christ.

Church heavens have impressive rituals, stirring programs, moving ceremonies, and splendid pomp, a show of candles and incense in cathedrals, with garbed priests, slick preachers, and abundance of activity. Brethren in church get so involved in “the work”, committed to the building programs and faithful in giving their tithes to the work. They do, and do, and do some more, but in all this something other than the tree of Life becomes the center.

The center becomes the pastor, or pope, the movement,or the message, or the organization or the program of famous personalities, or some other good cause. All these religious customs are now packaged activities in America going round the world intoxicating millions of Christians to drink heavily from their cup. Some are drunk with the powers that have been released. Men do get inebriated with the wine of teaching others the letter of the word and the honor of serving God acceptably in church.

Yet the complete portion of divine ingredients of GOD’S LIFE are written upon those drawn UP HITHER, into spiritual contact with celestial heavens in God. Just men are drawn to sonship. They come out of candlestick church realms as the Spirit of God teaches them about the spiritual realms of the New Jerusalem order, a celestial atmosphere of the King’s presence:

“Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.”   Matthew 5:6

We hunger for a food that makes us as righteous as Jesus. The tree of Life provides a divine supper fit for God’s sons to live upon. There is no possibility of suffering malnutrition or starving on this fare! This food can take us to the best and highest limits wherein a man can be found. Please notice: sons live on every word that is NOW proceeding from the mouth of God. Is it not dreadfully true that the vast majority of Christians are living in and under traditions that have mouthed the proceedings of past generations?

Yesterday's word was for that passing heaven’s day, a revelation for then. Divine messages are sent to the Lord’s people at certain times, for certain ages. These have now for us become historical creeds God spoke through St. Augustine, through Luther, through Calvin, through Spurgeon, through Whitfield, through Finney, through the Pentecostal pioneers, or through the Latter Rain prophets.

For those feeding on the tree of life spiritually, all of the past provision is now stale bread, spoiled meat, stagnant water, and a dead word. It was a word that God spoke then, but it’s not the word in His mouth NOW. Past generations of church leaders have passed down yesterday’s manna into today’s established church order. Yesterday’s food always breeds worms. Yesterday’s provision stinks if we try to keep it, to do it over, and over, and over:

Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”   Revelation 2:10-11 NAU

Jesus says we can be crowned with life by constantly eating of the tree of Life that is in the midst of the paradise of God! There are many things I do not know, yet now I know I am not guessing when saying I am partaking of the coming of Jesus Christ by the spirit. I know I am daily learning as His Spirit teaches me. Thus I have been enabled to follow Him into knowing the details of Mount Zion’s government, to be raised and spiritually drawn to the paradise of God's city.

We are now drawn into knowing our forefathers who are even now in spiritual Mount Zion. We feed at a table with more than just tastes of His fruit, but are enabled to be completely filled with the perfection and fullness of Christ Jesus. He has some saints ready for a great harvest work who will join every Christian rank to His marriage supper. This is a cause that will bless every rank of Christian faith to become filled with the fullness of sonship into perfection, inheriting our greatest possible reality.

To gain liberty, God's Spirit must pull down every confused, vain, selfishly evil thought, banish every mistake, and clear up every bit of confusion within us. His Spirit reveals the truth of scripture, THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD, until Christ appears within our center and we are made strong in the power of His might. Oh, He is coming! A wonderful Tree that dwelt in the bosom of the Father from the beginning has now given us marvelous food from His most fragrant gardens.

Oh, such precious seed is planted by the power of the age-lasting Father to extend life to men in His Word and Spirit. His seed springs up to grow the kind of fruit He wants within our lives. He faithfully draws us beyond the limits of our earthly thinking. The constraints of His Word and Spirit are sweet tasting fruit that, yes, can be bitter working out in our lives. Oh, but how satisfied our hearts become with every life-giving morsel from God’s mouth! Kingdom truth is being revealed within the middle of our being. In OUR middle, God is presently promising PERFECT LOVE. This is love that never passes away.

Rejoice! We Christians will never be satisfied with any other homeland but the New Jerusalem order. It has substance we learn to feed on. This is Jesus’s bread, He provides for eating God’s daily ideas for His sons. The more we eat, the more spiritually nourished we become, jointly manifesting God’s dominion in our daily liveswith more hope for our future.

Nearer have we come to the purposes of the King of the kingdom, enabling His people to SEE HIM as this new way of living is opened in them. Beholding Jesus changes us from glory to glory, from corruption to incorruption, as we have His life to be enabled to do it. Jesus Christ is enthroned by God the Father to send out His seven-fold Spirit into all the earth. He is the ancient one, the tree with LIFE. He is the Word Who was with God in the beginning.

God is moving us completely out of distorted carnal visions from church leaders who look through traditional legalistic mindsets with dead letter understandings of scripture. The pure insight of our spirit has had to filter through the fluted shell of many deceived souls in this church world. The marvelous things of God have been distorted into myriads of carnal doctrines, traditions, natural interpretations, childish imaginations, and religious reasonings of all kinds. This is really the level on which we dwell when we Christians know as a child:

"When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and see things as a child does, and think like a child; but now that I have become an adult, I have finished with all childish ways. Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself am known."   1 Corinthians 13:11-12 NJB

Paul saw that most Christian brothers were seeing through deceptive thinking as a child. Not satisfied in childish thinking, Paul states he would only be satisfied with knowing God as God knew him: thoroughly and no longer capable of being deceived by immature knowing. Paul did not want the knowing with man’s knowledge of good and evil. All sons and daughters of God are to arise and pass through the veils of fleshly knowing of God in immature standards of good and evil.

He calls sons to eat from another tree, placed within our middle, partaking of a voice that quickens our spirit to be connected to the Holiest of all. We are to see into and understand heavenly things as taught by God’s Spirit AS THEY REALLY ARE, in the blazing light of God’s New Day. This is to know God, our Father, as He knows us. We have a leader, a forerunner who opened up a path to God, and promises that are to draw us to a completely perfect stature. He also promises to draw ALL men to Himself.

God is making us fit for His lasting Kingdom, testing our faithfulness to every instruction we are given by the MIND OF CHRIST. Wisdom leads us to understand many hidden mysteries of God when we are daily clothed with His thoughts and raised to the sanctuary of communion with the Father’s favor. His abiding presence gives awesome enjoyment that is ingrained in our inner spiritual being.

His presence has dispelled our earthly sorrows, moved us past frustrations from yesterday’s mindset to show us the way of peace and how to love God as His mercy is extended to our daily need. We have a few enemies to pray for and are able to pray for those who despitefully used us and persecuted us, BUT we are not disturbed, upset, or frustrated by anything or anyone.

God must manifest the power that resurrects our inner life. I say He does it by giving us new understandings of His Word. What His Spirit teaches enlarges what we can see of the King. Clearly, spiritual understanding is critical in most every matter. Our destiny and part in His lasting Kingdom is becoming fit, being made ready.

We are to be made worthy of high and heavenly callings given only to those who have learned to eat Jesus’s hidden manna from His tree of life. When our spirit is connected to that, what a transformation will wrestle the ragged garments of our mortality off us to grant LASTING RAIMENT, the glory of God’s kingdom! Some do become white and glistering even now:

"Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches: those who prove victorious I will feed from the tree of life set in God's paradise."   Revelation 2:7 NJB

"Blessed are those who will have washed their robes clean, so that they will have the right to feed on the tree of life and can come through the gates into the city. Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tellers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, and everyone of false speech and false life."   Revelation 22:14-15 NJB
