The book of Judges records the loving kindness and tender mercy of God on the one hand and, over and over, again fighting the Canaanites (the merchant traffickers), and the incredible corruption of the human heart on the other. Had God sent His Son to be the Deliverer of Israel from the tyranny of Rome, or from any other external ruling circumstance or situation, while leaving our corruptible hearts and carnal natures unchanged, we also would have, as in the days of old, turned back again and again to other gods, bad habits, desires to do our own pleasure.
This is what unregenerate men are doing now in the civilized world. Survival is assumed, so they follow after Mammon, the god of riches, loving pleasure more than loving GOD. No wonder the Word said to Israelites
“Ye draw nigh to Me with your lips, but your heart is far from Me…” Isaiah 29:13
What good would it do to raise up more righteous judges to settle disputes between individuals and nations, to pronounce right verdicts and sentences, to execute justice in judicial decisions, while the HEARTS of men and women remained soaked in deceitful and corrupt influence? Yet, whenever a man is faced with God’s judgment and granted repentance, he is given a New Birth, even an awakening of his inner spirit. God’s righteousness is then established WITHIN THE HEART OF MAN, written there by the spirit of truth to give an individual’s heart learning, taught to be controlled by His Holy Spirit.
The wickedness in man demands a conversion, a change wherein all that is afar off from God is made NIGH by the blood of Christ. The very well-spring of conversion to Christ is in man’s awakening spirit. It is now being activated with a new identity in the authority of God’s Spirit in-working THE INNER HIDDEN PARTS OF OUR BEING. When Jesus appeared on the world scene, He came preaching messages of:
“Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Matthew 4:17
The whole problem with Israelites as a nation in old testament times was that they were unconverted in HEART. While they willingly made covenants with God and swore allegiance to His instruction in obedience publicly, their hearts remained unchanged. Jesus publicly stated there needs to be an inner change in order for them to grasp what God was now making available. In His judgment they needed an inner mindset change, a repentance, without which there is no hope of reaching divine agreement.
All of the leaders of Israel in those days were focused on teaching scriptural laws, bidding Israelites to draw nigh to God while their deceitful hearts were longing after Baal, or Ashtaroth, or Mammon. Those other gods of surrounding nations catered to more pleasant rewards that the soul of man desires — the real desires of greed, lust, and self-reward that the human heart wanted. Some of the same conditions of heart are resisted in new testament teaching in publicly converted masses of Christianity about us today. Many well-intended Christians serve with their lips the Lord, but their hearts are far from Him.
It takes growth from our new spiritual birth to face the deceitful workings of our own human heart. Soon we see and find the only answer. It is the cleansing fountain of Christ Jesus’s Spirit that washes and DELIVERS US from every condition of sin within each one of our hearts. The very essential first step of awakening our spirit to perceive spiritual matters is the essential spiritual knowledge of His Word. We come to know that sin is just missing the glory of God.
Many things can be experienced in a man's life, but when man is born of the spirit, he can grow to know the spiritual dimensions of God, to see what He has prepared for them that love Him. In the church dispensation God has led His people clearly enough that they entered into agreement with God’s real King. This was explained with these words:
“If anyone should not be begotten anew, he can not perceive the kingdom of God." John 3:3 concordant
“Verily, verily, I am saying to you, If anyone should not be begotten of water and of spirit, he can not be entering into the kingdom of God. That which is begotten by the flesh is flesh, and that which is begotten by the spirit is spirit. You should not be marveling that I said to you, ‘You must be begotten anew’. The blast is blowing where it wills, and the sound of it you are hearing, but you are not aware whence it is coming and where it is going. Thus is everyone who is begotten by the water and the spirit.” John 3:5-8 concordant
The spirit of God makes alive our deadened spirit so that we should be born again, awakened to our spirit by His Spirit, to know His ideas and His plans. We are begotten through the grace and power sent by the Spirit of Christ to be soundly converted. We are to have repentance into thinking entirely like unto Jesus, as a New Creation man. Those Fathered also are given the Holy Spirit to “water” His Word with spiritual understanding that His people may know the mind of Christ.
His Word is being spoken in heavenly places! He places us outside of empty ceremonial forms and rituals found in Babylon’s man-dominated religion, out from the violence and war in the nations of the world, out of the cheating and defrauding in homes, out of lying in schools, stops our cheating in business, delivers us from illicit filth of devilish ways that plague the ignorant with abominable things. These are all abominations coming out of the unregenerate heart of man.
At the same time God is bringing forth a blessing to all who have ever endeavored to follow Him. He is drawing to himself a people whom He saves, then judges to be FLAWLESS IN TRUTH, UNDEFILED BEFORE GOD:
"And I perceived, and lo! the Lambkin standing on mount Zion, and with It a hundred forty-four thousand, having Its name and Its Father's name written on their foreheads, And I hear a sound out of heaven as the sound of many waters and as the sound of loud thunder, and the sound which I hear is as lyre singers, playing, on their lyres.
And they are singing a new song, before the throne and before the four animals and before the elders. And not one was able to learn the song except the hundred forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth. These are they who were not polluted with women [Mystery Babylon], for they are celibates. These are those who are following the Lambkin wherever It should be going. These are bought from mankind, a first fruit to God and the Lambkin. And in their mouth falsehood was not found, for they are flawless." Revelation 14:1-5 concordant
We have followed the Lamb and allowed His spirit to teach us. He begot a spiritual growth within us that produces the kingdom fruit of love, peace and joy in our homes. Here is His abiding place within our spirit with lasting benefits so that we fit into the city of the living God. The Father of spirits has taught us to repent of every fraudulent pretense hidden within a man’s soul. It all can be cast off through God’s spirit—his soulish thinking and all the secret things that domain him. Christ appears within us to deliver us from all religious pretense.
He will overturn the false alms-giver's tables within our own hearts, so we are no longer able to do our alms to be seen of men. We have become a people who are having a holy spirit reveal the presence of Christ Jesus’s Kingdom in our daily life. The longing of our heart no longer cries for more tinsel of this world's programs, nor shallow fellowship in teaching the doctrines of Christ using the trinkets of popular religious ways.
Our hearts and our house become a HOUSE OF PRAYER. We pray for God’s will to be done in us, His light to govern until He comes to indwell our spirit and we are found to be earnestly doing the Father's will just as it is done in heaven;
“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” Matthew 6:10
We see that God is utterly doing His will in some whom He draws. They know it is utterly useless to try to deliver men from their external problems, from their inner enemies, unless first they have been delivered from vain and self centered hearts. Only by being “born again “ do we begin to be saved. Even many Christians need yet to be saved from soulish pride and human self-interest.
Christians need purged of fraudulently "keeping the law" externally to a faith that worships God in spirit and truth only. This is the path to be accounted worthy of entrance into the Kingdom where Christ reigns supreme within in His temple people. If we allow His Kingdom discipline, He makes of us kings and priests of a lasting spiritual kingdom after the order of an endless life.
All Christians desperately need TO BE SAVED FULLY FROM DEATH IN THE INNER MAN AND BE BROUGHT TO THIS ORDER OF ENDLESS LIFE. What does salvation to the uttermost mean?
“Whence, also, He is able to save to the uttermost those coming to God through Him, always being alive to be pleading for their sake.” Hebrews 7:25 concordant
“And saviours shall come up on Mount Zion [the seat of the government of God] to judge the mount of Esau [flesh]; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” Obadiah 21
The “mount of Esau” typifies the continuing RULE of man’s fleshly ideas, the religious mind of man. Some men know this triumph of Jesus sending His law of the spirit of life into our spirit. Much is accomplished in following what the Father writes on the tables of our renewed heart (mind). He molds us to determine where we fit in unity with His kingdom people, in the place He has planned for us:
“He planned for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth…” Ephesians 1:10 Amplified
“He chooses us in Him before the disruption of the world, we to be holy and flawless in His sight, in love -designating us beforehand for the place of a son for Him through Christ Jesus; Ephesians 1:4-5 concordant
“It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; and having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things to himself, whether they be things on earth or things in heaven…” Colossians 1:19-20
The power of His spirit is prevailing in us to wash and reconcile our spiritual being into oneness, our place with Himself that God has planned. We can experience now what His Spirit can accomplish in those of us who believe. The spirit of truth will teach us ALL THINGS. We can truly regard our fellow man as brothers living under a similar call to be saved and delivered.
His spirit fills us with irresistible impulses that understand how to consecrate our lives to Who is buying us back from earthly ways, including earthly ways of THINKING. He is preparing us now to bring the promised deliverance to the nations, that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ may ultimately have the full honor which belongs to it.
“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” Revelation 5:6
The seven Spirits of God are to proceed yet from the ENTHRONED LAMB into all the earthly minded people that have inhabited this planet. The complete measure, the seven Spirits of God, are being sent now to overcomers of the Laodicean candlestick church’s lukewarm condition where His people make Him stand outside and knock for their attention. The full measure of the seven spirits of God will be sent in due time INTO ALL THE EARTH.
The sevenfold Spirit of God is nothing short of the FULL AND COMPLETE MEASURE OF DELIVERING POWER THAT CHANGES OUR LIFE INTO THE SAME LIFE AS IN THE LAMB. We find in scripture that life is ascribed as the SPIRIT of life. In another place life is ascribed as the earthly BLOOD of our bodies, yet scripture describes LIFE as a heavenly work of sanctification that cleanses both the blood and the spirit through deliverance from of the Lord;
“The life is in the blood…” Leviticus 17:11
“He that eats My flesh and drinks My blood has everlasting life…it is the spirit that quickens (makes alive); the flesh profits nothing.” John 6:54.63
We find similar expressions of Paul in the epistle to the Ephesians.
“Yet now, in Christ Jesus, you who once are far off, are become near by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13 concordant
A little later Paul declares:
“We… have had the access, in one spirit, to the Father…” Ephesians 2:18 concordant
So also do we read of those who:
“…counted the blood of the covenant an unholy thing, and have done despite unto the Spirit of grace…” Hebrews 10:29
For us the full delivering force, the SEVEN FOLD of His Spirit, is proceeding forth with victorious deliverance from the Lamb. His sacrifice opens a full measure of redeeming power, sent to cleanse us from our earthly ways. It will quicken us to spiritual understanding, and bring us to perfection with the “just men being perfected” at spiritual Mount Zion.
Christians in modern day church generally need further growth into the mature stature of Christ, so that the King’s cleansing stream of spiritual life is SENT FORTH INTO ALL THEIR EARTHLY AFFAIRS: pruning, rebuking, teaching, counseling, exposing to us to God’s mighty river of life in Christ Jesus. He is in the business of cleansing and revitalizing us right now within the tasks and doings of our everyday life. God is dwelling with us in our daily life, in-working love, proper faith, and patience in enduring all in the right spirit.
God is delivering us from serving any false God. How does this take place among deceived Christian people? It is the spirit of man that is the candle of the Lord! What God’s spirit has begotten in our spirit reflects the state of our spiritual awareness, and it becomes strengthened to rule over our own soul’s thoughts and deeds. It is the 7 fold release that is coming from being married to the Lamb that shines deep into the dark, hidden, inner life of a man's thoughts, attitudes, intents, and fleshly desires.
His continual coming shines light that allows the experiencing of His freedom from the laws of sin and death. These things that that have held us, one by one dissolve in ONENESS with the law of life in Christ Jesus:
“The Kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21
"And this is the message which we have heard from Him and are informing you, that God is light, and darkness in Him there is none. If we should be saying that we are having fellowship with Him and should be walking in darkness, we are lying and are not doing the truth. Yet if we should be walking in the light as He is in the light, we are having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, is cleansing us from every sin." I John 1:5-7 concordant
"Now the holy spirit also is testifying to us, for after having declared, ‘This is the covenant which I shall be covenanting with them after those days’ the Lord is saying, ‘imparting My laws to their hearts, I shall be inscribing them on their comprehension also, and of their sins and their lawlessness shall I under no circumstances still be reminded. Now where there is a pardon of these, there is not longer an approach present concerned with sin.
Having then, brethren, boldness for the entrance of the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by a recently slain and living way which He dedicates for us, through the curtain, that is, His flesh, and a great Priest over the house of God, we may be approaching with a true heart, in the assurance of faith, with hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience, and a body bathed in clean water. We may be retaining the avowal of the expectation without wavering, for faithful is He Who promises." Hebrews 10:16-23 concordant
Blood of the acceptable sacrifice must penetrate the stains in you to awaken within your being a knowing deep within that SIN HAS GONE! Now there is nothing holding you to regret deep in your inner being. We are cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. When some article of clothing is washed clean, that clean water is used to soak into deep stains, to dissolve any spot on the garment.
Even so, the water of His Word will penetrate to the deepest roots of our inner being. It flows deeply into our daily issues of life, flooding our entire personality with His quickening image. Where any stain or strains of death have reached to mark us, to touch our heart, there too the cleansing blood of the loving Lamb will follow so that sin cannot RULE us. Here, WITHIN, His life comes to be dominant. We enter boldly into His salvation to the uttermost. The entire man, body, soul, and spirit, swallows up our death by His life.
Now we by being DAILY renewed in fellowship with Him. His spiritual life flows from following the Lamb in things shown us about the great depths, that “bottomless pit” of our inner being. He changes our understanding of the human condition and its lively and attractive activities. The life of the Lamb is a greater condition, wonderfully better at penetrating to touch and cleanse our deepest parts. He indeed can makes us whole! We need the complete measure of THE HOLY SPIRIT sent to us to receive even the saving of our soul:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who, according to His vast mercy, regenerates us into a living expectation, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead, for the enjoyment of an allotment incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, "kept" in the heavens for you, who are garrisoned by the power of God, through faith, for salvation ready to be revealed in the last era, in which you are exulting;
briefly at present, if it must be, being sorrowed by various trials, that the testing of your faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing, yet, being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ, Whom, not perceiving, you are loving; in Whom, not seeing at present, yet believing you are exulting with joy unspeakable and glorious, being requited with the consummation of your faith, the salvation of your souls." I Peter 1:3-9 concordant
The seven fold spirit is described by the prophet as;
“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and of the Fear of the Lord… with righteousness shall He judge, the wolf shall dwell with the Lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den… for the whole earth shall be full of the knowledge of the the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:2-9
The spirit of sonship has wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, spiritual knowledge, and reverence of God. All is contained in the intensified Spirit the Lord now sends. It is poured forth from His throne to His people with ears to hear and eyes of understanding to see. What blessed results He has placed within each of us who have capacity to LOVE, to make PEACE, to ENJOY whatever changes He in-works to alter our attitudes, even change our personalities! God removes the beastly nature of a wolf, the lion, the bear, the asp, or cockatrice from our heart!
The peace and life of the Kingdom of God comes forth quickly to change our spirit. The most wicked men and women are corrupted to be of fierce dispositions, needing change desperately. They CAN be entirely transformed by faith in God's grace, grace that saves, grace that forgets the offense in loving kindness. We are totally forgiven in the proper sacrifice, taught, then raised to a righteousness that is in harmony with God and His family. He is now saving all those granted repentance with His ability to change our mind. He is still gathering those who are lost, without God while in the world. Christ Jesus, HE IS OUR PEACE and He shows us HIS PEACE OF HEART!
The religious nature in Christian men are like unto “beasts and cockatrice (poisonous serpents),” more beastly in characteristic than venomous stings of deadly bites. Every generation of religious vipers shall be converted, raised and awakened to spiritual truth and will grow into a mature stature, being delivered up by a WORD OF RECONCILIATION into the Kingdom of God.
The Word of God shall ABIDE in us richly until that “sucking child" who plays around with such beastly conditions within their own life can be spared and saved. By trusting the instructions of righteousness, complete care is committed unto them from the glorious triumphs found in “the seven Spirits of God SENT FORTH INTO ALL THE EARTH.”
God, in His great mercy and love, raises up JUDGES as DELIVERERS that are first of all assigned to bring HEART CHANGE, a real repentance to His people. Then, the Word of their salvation from sin and death can be SEEN, making a people truly saved from sin. We are among that nation, at long last, not to be corrupted again, but delivered into a incorruptible substance within our own spirit that fades not away.
God is our Father. He has turned on His light inside our spirit. God’s saving Light is not merely a deliverance from taxes or tyranny or bureaucracy. It is a deliverance from the errors of carnal thinking, from false beliefs and personal death that is working deeply within each one’s own life. God’s third day Light gives a new powerful cleansing which strikes at the deepest ROOT of our multiplied sorrows and tragedies. Working within us is the Light that makes us glad, we rejoice in faith that He is COMING QUICKLY to save us.
